Pockety is an application designed to record and split shared expenses within groups. The service enables users to scan purchase receipts using artificial intelligence, divide itemized costs among participants, calculate aggregate group balances, and recommend simplified settlements.

2. User Accounts and Responsibility

You must create an account to use Pockety. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of any receipts, amounts, or data you submit to the platform.

3. Informational Nature and No Money Transfers

Pockety is not a bank, payment processor, or money transmitter. The service does not hold user funds, transmit money, or execute financial transactions. All balances, debts, and settlement records shown in the app are strictly informational.

4. AI and OCR Receipt Scanning

Automated receipt text extraction (OCR) powered by artificial intelligence is provided as an assistive convenience. The OCR process may occasionally misinterpret store names, transaction dates, or itemized amounts. Users must review and verify all details prior to saving expenses.

5. Plans and Usage Limits

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Pockety strictly in compliance with applicable law. You may not upload illegal, fraudulent, or infringing receipt images or content, nor attempt to compromise the integrity, security, or availability of the platform.

7. Groups and Shared Data

When you join a group, you share expenses and receipt information with other members of that group. If a user leaves a group or deletes their account, previously recorded expenses remain associated with their name as an unregistered member to keep group accounting balances accurate.

8. Termination and Account Deletion

You may discontinue your use of Pockety and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.

9. Limitation of Liability
